About GACAMI INITIATIVE

We are a registered social nonprofit organization operating in the Teso Sub-Region of Uganda. Our mission is to empower disadvantaged communities through agricultural commercialization and sustainable livelihood support.

GACAMI supports grassroots farmer groups to build sustainable livelihoods, improve health, and expand economic opportunity. We create partnerships between smallholder farmers, government agencies, civil society, and private sector actors to strengthen value chains and increase market access.

Since 2022, we have supported more than 750 smallholder farmers in the Amuria area. By the end of 2025, we aim to reach 10,000+ farmers with programs focused on sensitization, technical empowerment, quality inputs, and agricultural commercialization.

Our Approach

We deliver locally driven training, quality seed mobilization, agribusiness coaching, and stakeholder coordination designed to make farming profitable and sustainable.

Why It Matters

Smallholder farmers face barriers to inputs, knowledge, and markets. GACAMI addresses these gaps so families can move from subsistence to reliable income generation.
